Clearly there were some "outsiders" in these festivities. Some (David, third photo) are just too young to be alumni, unless you believe in reincarnation, which none of us does. Then there is the Coos County Democrat photo (first photo) which shows some young ladies who are also either very well preserved (could be, it might be in the water) or who are also outsiders. Actually David (Noah, and Jacob) are Bob Boeri's grandchildren, and the two dashing young ladies are Martha and Joanna, Bob and Judy's daughters.

This was an interesting alumni party for other reasons too. Mrs. Morse, everybody's favorite 6th grade teacher (because each of us were her favorite students), was about to turn 100 years young. Then there was the extended debate --modestly heated at times-- about what to do if ever there were a tie award for the Miller-Bailey scholarship. This tie was the first ever, so it surprised some to hear how much energy was expended on the subject. Still, it was an important point and livened up the party.

Got any thoughts you'd like to add about the 2005 event or Whitefield High School (or New Hampshire, whatever) in general? Email me and I'll put your thoughts into the site so "my words" can be "your words" too.

One last note: Some of these pictures have little notes attached to them. Hover your mouse over the pictures and if you're lucky, you'll find the ones with additional notes as "pop up" text.
